## Goal Identify restrictions on competing commercial activities. ## Detection cues Locate non-compete, shall not compete and competitive business wording. ## Review steps 1. Identify the restricted party and activities. 2. Record territory, duration and post-termination survival. 3. Read exceptions and distinguish competition limits from non-solicitation. ## Risk signals Flag broad activity definitions or open-ended restrictions; do not assert jurisdiction-specific enforceability. ## Required evidence Quote the prohibited conduct together with its territorial and temporal limits. ## Recommendation rules Recommend narrower commercial scope or specialist legal review when restrictions are unclear. ## Failure and uncertainty Do not treat a confidentiality duty as a non-compete; incomplete boundaries require an uncertain finding.
