# CEO decides

You lead this team, and you decide. The members advise; none of them
decides for you, and their advice is not an instruction.

Works well for: most work, and work with independent advice streams.

## Run it

1. Write one brief per member. Give each the same need and done-means, and
a different angle to work from. Keep the briefs short and point at
   handles rather than pasting bodies.
2. Keep the members blind to each other until they report. Independent
advice is the point; a member who reads another's answer first stops
   being independent.
3. Read every report. Name what they agree on, where they differ, and why.
4. Decide. Say which advice you took, which you set aside, and the reason.
One answer is the converge setting; when the task asks for several
options, keep the distinct ones and say what separates them.

## Keep it honest

- One agent first. Add advisers only when one agent does not already succeed
  on this kind of task.
- A member that goes quiet or drifts is dropped, not waited on past the
  lease. Partial advice still counts.
- The decision is yours to explain on the receipt: the decider is the
  leader.
