# The edit - Normalize clips before concat (same fps/resolution/pix_fmt): `-vf "scale=1920:1080:force_original_aspect_ratio=decrease,pad=1920:1080:-1:-1,fps=30" -pix_fmt yuv420p`. - Concat with the filter, not the demuxer, when sources differ: `[v0][v1]concat=n=2:v=1[v]` (audio muxed separately). - Cut on motion and on the beat; trim clips so cuts land on action. - Transitions: hard cuts read confident; use `xfade` sparingly (`xfade=transition=fade:duration=0.3:offset=...`). - ALL text is overlaid by you: `drawtext` with a real font file, or title cards you compose as images (Nano Banana composition + real text overlay). Never ship model-rendered text. - Mux: `-c:v libx264 -pix_fmt yuv420p -c:a aac -movflags +faststart`. - Hit spec exactly: 15.0s +- 0.5s — verify with `ffprobe -show_entries format=duration`. Check resolution, audio stream present, and view the 1-fps contact sheet before calling it done.
