# Concepting on Nano Banana

Concept work is VISUAL and happens on the Nano Banana image model before a
word of script exists. Talking about a vibe is not having one.

## The concept loop
1. From research, write 2–3 candidate territories in one line each
   (e.g. "sunscreen as pre-game ritual" vs "the SPF your dad never wore").
2. For each territory, generate a 3–4 image moodboard on Nano Banana:
   palette, light, texture, one hero composition. View them side by side.
3. Written verdict per territory: distinctive? ownable? shootable in 15s?
   Kill the weak ones. Iterate the survivor until every frame on its board
   feels like the same film.
4. For invented brands: extend the loop to brand boards — name lockups as
   composition (overlay real text later, never model-rendered), packaging
   or signature-item hero renders. Iterate until identity holds across
   images; those approved boards become identity anchors downstream.

## Script (stage 3 output, `script.md`)
- The concept in one paragraph: idea, feeling, hook.
- Shot list: duration, visual description, camera move, exact generation
  prompt per shot — durations summing to ~15s. Fewer, better shots beats
  many: 3–5 shots is the sweet spot at 15 seconds.
- Audio direction with its prompt/script.
- Continuity plan (what carries across cuts: light, palette, hero object).
- Model-selection table (see skills/screen-test).
