# Prompting the camera

- One clear action per shot. A shot that tries two things does neither.
- Name the camera move: slow push-in, orbit, top-down reveal, rack focus,
  whip-pan. Unnamed cameras drift.
- Name the light and keep it continuous with the neighboring shots'
  boards: "soft key from left, cool rim, seamless white sweep".
- Describe motion of the SUBJECT separately from motion of the camera.
- Keep prompts concrete and visual; adjectives about feelings do less
  than nouns about light, lens, and materials.
- Respect each model's duration sweet spot from your selection table;
  plan clip lengths so trims land on the action, not mid-gesture.
- Text in frame: don't. Supers, taglines, and lockups are overlaid in the
  edit (skills/edit-ffmpeg).
