# Testing Guidelines

## When to Apply

When writing or reviewing unit tests (Vitest) or e2e tests (Playwright).

## Rules

- `vitest` — `globals: true`, 80% coverage thresholds, `beforeEach` state reset, mock all external deps
- `playwright` — `getByRole` first, no `waitForTimeout`, independent tests, always assert outcomes
