fleet-publish- Description
- Publish human-readable per-asset records (Profile + Log + Telemetry workbook, plus filed invoice/inspection PDFs) to the shared drive's Vehicles/ and Equipment/ folders. Separate from the ingest pipeline; safe to re-run. Use when someone needs the browsable per-vehicle folders refreshed. Triggers - "publish the fleet records", "refresh the per-asset folders", "update the vehicle records on the drive".

Render each asset's working records into its browsable folder on the shared drive, from this agent's directory: ```bash python scripts/publish_records.py ``` For each asset it writes, under `FLEET_PUBLISH_DIR/Vehicles/<RS> - <name>/` (or `Equipment/<E> - <name>/`): - `Records/<RS> Record.xlsx` — three tabs: **Profile** (the snapshot as a sectioned, readable Field/Value sheet — identity, assignment, tracking, current, inspection, maintenance, financial, flags), **Log** (every event: maintenance, inspections), **Telemetry** (odometer / location history). - `Maintenance/` — the filed invoice PDFs. - `Inspections/` — filed inspection artifacts. Read-only against the working store (`data/assets/`); writes only under the shared drive (`FLEET_PUBLISH_DIR`, guarded by `paths.guard_live`). **Safe to re-run** — the workbook is re-rendered each run and PDFs are copied only when missing. The vehicle/equipment split matches the weekly report. Folders are matched to existing friendly names (e.g. `RS001 - Cargo Van`) or created from the model. Preview without writing: `python scripts/publish_records.py --dry-run`. Report the per-asset summary and the total published. See `../fleet-pipeline/SKILL.md` (which produces the snapshots this reads) and `../../context/data-model.md` for the per-asset file model.
