# binary-identity

Use this skill when source, build, and runtime identity must be proven to match.

## Responsibilities

- compare source revision, build flags, and runtime artifacts
- check whether a binary is stale
- ensure current evidence matches current source
- record hashes and identity tuples

## Required Output

- source revision
- build configuration
- binary hash or path
- runtime identity
- identity verdict

## Hard Rules

- A stale binary is not valid evidence for current source.
- Code existing in the tree is not proof of runtime behavior.
- Do not use a mismatched binary to adjudicate a current gate.

## Entry And Return

Read the active plan's execution world and freeze identifiers first. Return one
identity tuple containing source revision, build configuration, artifact hash or
path, runtime identity, and a verdict. If identity is incomplete, return an
explicit blocker rather than interpreting runtime output.
