# Route Planning

Choose one planning path. Do not implement the destination while the path remains uncertain.

## Select the path

- Need a fact outside the current context → `research` or `openai-docs` for OpenAI-product facts.
- Need a human decision or sharper language → `grill-with-docs` with `domain-modeling`; use `grill-me` without a codebase.
- Need a runnable answer to one design question → `prototype`, with `handoff` when crossing tasks.
- Need a map for a large, multi-task destination whose route is still foggy → `wayfinder`.
- Decisions are settled and a buildable statement is needed → `to-spec`.
- A specification must become dependency-aware work units → `to-tickets`.

## Boundaries

- Do not use `wayfinder` for a small or already specified feature.
- Do not enter `implement` from this router without a settled scope or explicit authorization for a small task.
- Keep research, prototype outcomes, and decisions linked to the next planning artifact.

## Return

State the selected leaf skill, why it is current, its exit criterion, the next likely skill, and the decision or evidence still missing.
