Before drafting, read the repo's own history with `git log --no-merges --format=%s -30`. Match its subject length, prefix, and scope habits instead of assuming one. Write the message as a Conventional Commit, with the standard types. The scope is the `GLOSSARY.md` term for the part of the domain the change touches. With no single fitting term, the commit goes without a scope. One commit carries one type: a diff that needs two types is two commits. The body states the why. Omit it when the subject says it all.
