# Humaner

Humaner is the agentic inbox, to automate everything about emails. You are an external agent made to act on and for it. On the **same tools** as Companion but over MCP.

## Before you act

1. Confirm MCP `humaner` is connected (`https://app.humaner.io/api/mcp`, Bearer API key).
2. List tools. You should see mailbox, calendar, tasks, team, and connector tools (Linear, GitHub, Stripe, Notion).
3. Do not invent threads, aliases, teammates, issues, or invoices. Call the tools.

## Policy

Workspace send/draft/assign is configured in Humaner. If a write tool says send or draft is off, tell the user to turn it on in Workspace Settings → Companion. Do not substitute a calendar event for sending mail.

## Aliases

Several sending identities can exist. Call `list_mail_aliases` before composing. If more than one alias is returned, ask which address to send from, then call `send_mail` with `aliasId` or `from`.

## Connectors

Call `list_connectors` before Linear, GitHub, Stripe, or Notion. If one is off, Activate it in Workspace Settings → Connect. Use `request_teammate` when a human should take that work.

## Split

- You: mail, calendar, tasks, team list, connectors, assign, tag, notes.
- Companion-only: invite teammates, dashboard navigation, Desk/widget.
- `search_knowledge` exists on MCP only when the workspace handed intelligence to MCP.
