About

Structure a product or business-model hypothesis across Lean Canvas problem, solution, unique value proposition, unfair advantage, customer segments, channels, revenue, costs, and key metrics while preserving evidence status and critical assumptions. Use for product_strategy responsibility and produce business_canvas. Do not invent TAM, willingness to pay, unit economics, acquisition costs, moats, or validation evidence.

# Lean Canvas

Satisfy a `product_strategy` responsibility by producing `business_canvas`.

## Inputs

Require a product idea/direction, target audience, and problem. Prefer discovery, market, pricing, and operational evidence when available.

## Procedure

1. Read [references/contract.md](references/contract.md).
2. Fill the nine Lean Canvas blocks with concise hypotheses/evidence.
3. Preserve existing alternatives and early-adopter assumptions explicitly.
4. Treat UVP, unfair advantage, channels, revenue, costs, TAM/SAM/SOM, and unit economics according to their actual evidence strength.
5. Identify the smallest set of critical assumptions whose failure would invalidate the model.
6. Propose the lowest-cost sufficient evidence source for each critical assumption. When empirical work is material, apply `../using-sensemaking/references/experiment-economy-v1.md` before recommending an experiment.
7. Return `business_canvas` and control.

## Boundary

```text
critical assumption != experiment requirement
validation method != experiment warrant
canvas block != validated fact
unfair advantage hypothesis != moat
pricing hypothesis != willingness-to-pay evidence
TAM estimate != observed market capture
```

Lean Canvas owns assumption mapping, not experimentation responsibility.
