# Test-Driven Development ## Goal Ensure software correctness through automated tests that fail before fixes/features and pass after implementation. ## Procedure 1. **Write Failing Test**: Create unit/integration tests reproducing a bug or asserting a new feature capability. 2. **Execute & Confirm Failure**: Run the test to confirm it fails for the expected reason. 3. **Implement Minimal Code**: Write the simplest code necessary to satisfy the test requirements. 4. **Execute & Confirm Pass**: Re-run the test to confirm it passes cleanly. 5. **Refactor**: Clean up implementation details while ensuring tests remain green.
