# DS4 for Apple

Treat this capability as experimental until a hardware profile passes repeatable inference and client tests.

## Workflow

1. Run `scripts/probe_apple.sh` on macOS.
2. Record chip family, architecture, macOS version, and unified memory.
3. Read `references/compatibility.md` before recommending a runtime or quantization.
4. Require an explicit model download confirmation.
5. Bind local endpoints to `127.0.0.1` by default.
6. Verify text generation and tool calling before configuring a client.

Do not present Qwen RTX profiles as Apple-compatible.
