# Surgical Changes

Use this skill to keep edits tightly scoped to the requested outcome.

## Rules

- Touch only files and lines required by the request.
- Match local style, naming, formatting, and patterns.
- Do not rewrite adjacent logic unless it directly blocks the requested change.
- Do not reformat, rename, reorder, or restyle unrelated code.
- Clean up only imports, variables, helpers, tests, or docs made stale by your own change.
- Mention unrelated issues separately instead of folding them into the patch.

## Review Check

Every changed line should map to one of:

- requested behavior;
- necessary verification;
- cleanup caused by the change.

If a line does not map to one of those, remove it from the patch.
