# Simplicity First Use this skill to reduce a solution to the minimum complete change that solves the request. ## Rules - Implement the direct solution before introducing architecture. - Do not add features that were not requested. - Do not add abstractions with only one real use. - Do not add knobs, flags, providers, plugins, configuration, or extension points for imagined future needs. - Do not add defensive handling for scenarios with no evidence they matter. - If the patch is growing faster than the requirement, stop and shrink it. ## Review Check Ask whether a strong reviewer would call the solution more complex than the problem requires. If yes, simplify before reporting completion. ## Good Output - Explains the smaller path when pushing back. - Keeps new helpers local until reuse is real. - Leaves future flexibility to future evidence.
