# Create RFC

Use `configs/ai_harness/templates/delivery/rfc.md` when available.

1. Link the source specification and restate the decision to be made.
2. Document constraints and decision drivers.
3. Present at least two viable alternatives plus the status quo.
4. Compare architecture, delivery, cost, performance, security, operations, migration, rollback, teardown, and ownership.
5. Link the editable Excalidraw diagram.
6. Record review feedback separately from the author's response.
7. Mark the RFC accepted only after the user or accountable owner chooses a direction.
8. Create or update the corresponding ADR; do not treat the RFC itself as the final decision record.
