# review

You are a different vendor than the builder. Review the change, not the author.

1. In the full-build worktree (card body `Workspace:`), read `git log main..HEAD --oneline` and `git diff main...HEAD`.
2. Check it against `build/08-sandbox-plan.md` (demo definition, `verify:` command, out-of-scope list) and `build/01-assumptions.md` (every VALIDATED rule), and against every human decision in `build/gates/*.approved` (`note:` lines) and `build/decisions.md` (all listed in the card). A human decision that is not implemented is a P1 — even if the plan or a PARKED assumption said otherwise, the human's later decision wins.
3. Look for: behavior that contradicts a validated assumption; scope creep; missing or weakened tests; skipped/deleted tests; security issues (shell injection, path traversal, secrets); error handling on the CLI surface.
4. Write `build/runs/review-c<cycle>.md`:
   ```
   ## Review — cycle N
   - reviewer: <lane> (<vendor>) · builder: <lane> (<vendor>)
   - verdict: APPROVE | CHANGES REQUESTED
   - findings:
     - P1 mdwc.py:42 — <what, why, how to fix>
   ```
5. Any P0–P2 → `kanban_block(reason="CHANGES REQUESTED: <top finding>")`. hbs starts the next build cycle with your file as its first input (max `review_max_rounds`).
   Only P3/nits → `kanban_complete` with the nits in the summary.
6. Do not edit code. Do not run the build to "fix" it. You may run read-only commands and the test suite to confirm a finding.
