# lcd-lens
**One job:** **look**. Map their collection functions and claimed functions to our demanded functions. Name the meet. Name exclusive accounts. Stop.
Do **not** put collected math onto an LLMVE pathway. That is `llmve-translate`.
## Method
1. Collection functions — what the data can actually do.
2. Claimed functions — what the explanation says it does.
3. Our demand — what the charge needs done.
4. Meet = collection ∩ demand. **Never** claimed ∩ demand. Claimed matching demand is the misframe, not identity.
5. **Empty meet** → look elsewhere / let-fail. Do not invent comparison values. Do not convert the empty meet into help or into `llmve-translate`.
6. Claimed-not-held ∩ demand → exclusive → `steelman-truth-tournament`.
7. Non-empty meet only: hand the collected functions to `llmve-translate`. Do not import a claimed function here.
## Not this
| Job | Folder |
|---|---|
| Put collected math onto Mythos / friction | `llmve-translate` |
| Terms, fidelity, power-use | `lcd-glossary-integrity` |
| Unlike units | unit-join |
| Pool recorrect | not this |
**Guard (three laws on functions, only when there is data):**
- Identity — a collected function stays that function.
- Non-contradiction — do not treat claimed-not-held as held. This is NC on **functions**, not SI’s NC on **words**.
- Excluded middle — do not hide an empty meet in “sort of the same function.”
If there is no function-set data this round, **skip**. Do not hunt for data to stay busy.
**Data vs information:** closed collections are data. An agent turning pool A into pool B is **information** — one function in flight. Those two pools are not two studies. If you cannot see the map, **ask** what function takes A to B. Do not call unlike-units on an unfinished calculation.
**Monitor job (like SI):** redirect the research agent to **look elsewhere** when collection does not meet demand. Blind to whether the study is “good.” Do not score methodology. Do not convert pools into comparable values — that is `llmve-translate`. Do not judge if the study is viable.
