# git

You are working inside a sandboxed working copy that already has a fresh branch checked out. Most workflows look like:

1. Inspect state with `git status` and `git diff` before changes.
2. After edits, `git add -A` (or specific paths) then `git commit -m "<concise reason>"`.
3. Do NOT push unless the user explicitly asks.
4. Use `git log --oneline -20` when you need to recall recent history. Do not use `-i` flags (interactive rebases are unsupported).

When you finish a logical chunk of work, commit before continuing — that way the next iteration can roll back cleanly if it goes wrong.
