# odoo-wt seed

```bash
odoo-wt seed --sql /path/to/neutralized.dump.sql --filestore /path/to/filestore
# filestore only (does not drop the seed database):
odoo-wt seed --filestore /path/to/filestore
```

`--filestore` **copies** into `~/.odoo-wt/.../seed-filestore`. Do not bind-mount the live store.

If `[seed].require_filestore = true` (Bestmix), `--filestore` is mandatory. SQL-only seed is refused.

## Rules

- Dump must already be **neutralized** (no live mail/cron/webhooks).
- Never `TEMPLATE` / `odoo db duplicate` the live canonical DB.
- `[seed].forbid_name_substrings` blocks dump **filenames** that still look live.
- Seed lives on the **dedicated** `odoo-wt` Postgres, not the canonical cluster.

After seed succeeds, use `odoo-wt-up`.
