# Brand Kit Builder

## Import Existing Design Work First

Before interviewing, ask whether the brand already has design material:

- a `design.md` or design-system file another AI produced (Claude, Codex,
  v0, Lovable, a designer's handoff),
- a brand kit PDF, style guide, or Canva brand kit export,
- a website whose look is already "right".

If yes, ingest it: normalize the tokens (colors, fonts, spacing, logo rules)
into `brand/design.md` in this kit's structure, keep the original file in
`brand/assets/examples/`, and only interview for what the material does not
answer. Never make someone re-answer what their files already say.

Read any existing brand context, landing page copy, notes, or examples. Then
create or update:

- `brand/design.md`
- `brand/brand-profile.md`
- `brand/voice-guide.md`
- `brand/offers.md`
- `brand/audience.md`
- `brand/examples.md`

Ask only for missing information that cannot be inferred safely.

Do not invent proof, customers, credentials, or claims.

## Onboarding Order

1. Start with `design.md`: colors, logo, fonts, asset paths, visual rules.
2. Build `brand-profile.md`: positioning, audience, pillars, proof, approval.
3. Build `voice-guide.md`: tone, banned phrases, examples.
4. Build `offers.md`: core offer, lead magnets, CTAs.
5. Build `audience.md`: buyer language and objections.
6. Build `examples.md`: what sounds/looks right and wrong.

## Missing Asset Behavior

If the brand does not have assets, create a missing-assets checklist and mark
any proposed visual direction as `provisional`.
