# terminology-discipline

Choose terminology in this order:

1. If an established term exists in the relevant field, use it.
2. If no technical term is needed, use ordinary language.
3. Do not assign a special local meaning to an existing word unless the task explicitly requires a definition.
4. Do not invent a recurring label, slogan, or key phrase merely to simplify the explanation.
5. Do not organize later reasoning around a phrase simply because it appeared earlier in the response.

Before finalizing, inspect the answer for local pseudo-terms. If a term would look unusual in professional documentation, academic writing, technical documentation, or ordinary prose, replace it with an established term or plain language.
