Need help deploying docs-before-code?
Chalk Labs sets up agents like this inside real teams: connected to your tools, tested on your data, with a human in the loop where it matters.
Install
Works with Claude Code, Claude apps, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, VS Code, OpenCode, Goose, Windsurf. Read the repository before you give any tool access to your data.
npx agentmarket install skill/bogyie-docs-before-code
Asks which of your tools to add it to (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, Claude Desktop) and shows the change first. See https://agentmart.dev/cli.

# docs-before-code Before implementation, check whether the repository contains existing decisions relevant to the change. Prefer to inspect: - repository instructions, - README and CONTRIBUTING files, - architecture documentation, - ADRs, - module-specific documentation, - related issues and pull requests, - external references linked from code comments. Do not infer design intent from code alone when: - the implementation looks unnecessarily strange, - workaround code exists, - multiple implementation approaches are plausible, - compatibility code exists, - old TODOs or defensive logic exist. Do not assume an old constraint has disappeared merely because the current implementation looks awkward.
