# Brand guidelines

## Voice and tone
- <Plain, direct, second person ("you"). No jargon, no exclamation marks, no blame.>
- Error messages say what happened and what to do next; never expose internal identifiers.
- Product names are written <exactly like this>; never abbreviated.

## Visual system
- Use the design system components from <package/library>; do not hand-roll buttons, inputs, modals.
- Colours, type scale and spacing come from design tokens <path/package>; no hard-coded hex values.
- Logos and imagery only from <asset library>; never stretched, recoloured or placed on busy backgrounds.

## Accessibility (also in ux-standards)
- Minimum contrast <4.5:1>; every interactive element has a visible focus state and an accessible name.

## How to apply
- spec.md "User experience" cites the design-system components and copy patterns used.
- Flag (do not resolve) any request that conflicts with these rules; owner = <brand lead>.
- In review, brand deviations are Nits unless they mislead customers (then Important).
