About

GitHub Copilot agents use context and tools to plan and complete tasks, and you choose where to work with them. The cloud agent lets you assign work to Copilot to research, plan and write code, with or without a pull request, and track it from the agents page, editors or project tools. Agent mode is also available in several IDEs and the Copilot CLI. It integrates with MCP servers and takes custom instructions.
