# Rust Skill

Use this skill when working on Rust projects.

## Focus

- Prefer `cargo check` before heavier commands
- Use `cargo test` after behavior-changing edits
- Use `cargo fmt` and `cargo clippy` before finalizing changes
- Keep changes idiomatic and small
- Favor explicit error handling and readable ownership patterns

## Typical workflow

1. Inspect the relevant files
2. Make the smallest coherent code change
3. Run `cargo check`
4. Run targeted tests when possible
5. Summarize behavior change and verification
