# DevOps Change Approval Treat operational changes by blast radius. AI assistants may prepare plans and non-production changes, but high-risk actions need explicit human approval. ## Workflow 1. Classify the requested action: local, non-production, production-adjacent, or production. 2. Identify blast radius: data, availability, access, cost, compliance, and rollback. 3. Prefer dry runs, plans, pull requests, and infrastructure-as-code changes. 4. Require approval for production, IAM/RBAC, database migrations, destructive commands, and credential changes. 5. Report the safest next step. ## Required Output - Risk classification. - Approval requirement. - Safer alternative if direct execution is risky. - Validation and rollback expectations.
