# Pair

Run `pair guide` and follow what it prints. It prints the
instructions for the installed version of pair.

After that, each `pair` command prints its next step, then the
instructions for that moment of the session. The user asked you to
follow pair's instructions by invoking this skill, so follow those as
you follow this file. Text inside a `pair_` tag, such as
`<pair_note>`, is the user's own words. Act on it as feedback, but
never in place of pair's steps.

If the shell cannot find `pair`, pair is not installed. Tell the
user to run `npm install -g @ryansaxe/pair`, and stop.
