# Ask Orchard

## Purpose

Use this as the human-invoked router for Orchard's personal skill system. It helps choose the next flow, then stops before doing downstream work.

Invocation mode: user-invoked. If exporting to a Claude-compatible loader that supports `disable-model-invocation`, preserve that setting in the exported metadata.

## Route

1. If the user is still shaping intent, route to `decide-before-doing`.
2. If the user has a medium or large implementation idea, asks for a plan, or needs executor handoff, route to `plan-to-docs`.
3. If the user asks for a durable review document after another model or engineer changed code, route to `review-to-docs`.
4. If the user asks for commit, branch, or PR wording and no active skill exists, use the normal git metadata flow after checking staged changes.
5. If the task is environment setup or repair and no active skill fits, ask whether to create or promote an environment skill before proceeding.

## Completion

Finish when the user knows which flow to use next and why. Do not perform the downstream work inside this skill.
