SKILL.md (first lines)
Fetch trails from OpenStreetMap using the bundled gpx_fetch.py script.
Run the script from the skill directory:
```bash
python3 ${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}/gpx_fetch.py --bbox south,west,north,east [options]
```
Key flags:
- `--bbox south,west,north,east` — bounding box (required)
- `-o, --output` — output file (default: osm_trails.gpx)
- `--name` — track name in GPX metadata
- `--types` — OSM highway types to fetch (default: path track footway bridleway steps)
- `-q, --quiet` — suppress progress output
After fetching, merge with other GPX tracks using [smart-gpx-merge](https://github.com/nguyenkhangme/smart-gpx-merge):
```bash
smart-gpx-merge fetched.gpx your_tracks.gpx -o merged.gpx
```
