# sn-storage — harness storage API

Read before creating or changing storage points via the API.

## Preflight

If `false`, set `SENTINEL_VAULT_PASSPHRASE` (e.g. in `.sentinel/harness.env` for systemd), restart harness, re-check.

## Create storage point

`POST /st` with Bearer token. Required: `name`, `stub`, `provider` (`s3`|`b2`|`garage`|`r2`), `bucket`, `public_url`, `access_key`, `secret_key`.

B2 `public_url` example: `https://f004.backblazeb2.com/file/my-bucket/` (trailing slash). Empty `public_url` for B2 returns `STORAGE.PUBLIC_URL_REQUIRED`.

Response includes `point.id` and `point.stub` — use `storage_point_id` or `storage_stub` when wiring backup plans.

## Test

`POST /st/{id}/test` returns `checks.vault_credentials_present` and `checks.remote_list_probe` (list bucket, not full upload).

## Errors

| err | Meaning |
|-----|---------|
| `VAULT.NOT_INITIALIZED` | Vault off — set passphrase and restart |
| `RESOURCE.CONFLICT` | Duplicate stub/name — use `PUT /st/{id}` |
| `STORAGE.PUBLIC_URL_REQUIRED` | B2 needs explicit public URL |
