# `poa-mine` (`poa-agent-kit`)

Follow `rules/poa.md` throughout. Never read or print `~/.poa/key` directly.

1. **Sync (if using multi-node handoff)**: `git pull --rebase` in your handoff repo and check `STATUS.md` + `LOG.md`.
2. **Health Probe & Single-Call Operator Pulse**:
   ```bash

   python3 bin/poa.py health --timeout 8

   - If `verdict == "halted"` (`HTTP 503` operator maintenance pause), **do NOT poll `/api/hosted/*` or submit writes**. Run `python3 bin/poa.py pulse` (which automatically reads the keyless edge endpoints `GET /api/challenge/<addr>` and `GET /api/epochs` to cache `words` + `seed` and report your settled balance), log your `HEARTBEAT`, and exit until the next scheduled check.
   - When `verdict == "rest-ok"`, run `python3 bin/poa.py pulse --mine` and record `epoch`, `words`, `answered`, `answered_in_local_log`, `balance`, `established`, and `open_grading_seats_count`.
3. **Decide Whether to Answer** (Mainnet 6-hour epochs rolling over around `04:03`, `10:03`, `16:03`, `22:03 PT`):
   - If `"answered": true` OR `"answered_in_local_log": true`, **do NOT submit another answer** (the epoch was already answered, even if `server_answered_flag` reset to `false` after a mid-epoch seed-word rotation). Skip to Step 6.
   - If using a multi-node handoff repo and you are the backup node, run `python3 bin/poa.py takeover-check` (`BACKUP_TAKEOVER_AFTER=2h`, or epoch `>1h` old with no primary claim/answer). If `decision != "takeover"`, skip to Step 6.
   - Otherwise, if using a handoff repo, append a `CLAIM` line to `LOG.md`, commit, and `git push`.
4. **Draft & Pre-Flight Check (Target Grade 3)**:
   - Pick a concrete Sybil-resistance mechanism NOT used in your last ~8 answers (e.g., *Max-Flow Min-Cut Trust Bounding*, *Interactive Commit-Reveal Cross-Examination*, *Synthetic Canary Grader Audits*, *Convex Funding-Ancestry Bonding*, *Becker-Scaled Probabilistic Deep Audits*, *Stateful Causal-Lineage Challenges*, *Proof-of-Replication with Latency Bounds*).
   - Write a 350–560 character original explanation to `work/answer-<epoch>.txt` that:
     1. Names the concrete mechanism,
     2. Explains **how it works** and **what it costs an attacker** per fake identity,
     3. Uses the **exact uninflected form** of all 3 required words naturally inside the mechanism (never inflected like `whispering` for `whisper`, and never bolted onto a trailing list).
   - Run pre-flight (verifies length `120–600`, exact word-boundary matches on live `/challenge` words, `inflected_words: []`, `<25%` 3-word shingle overlap against `~/.poa/answers.log`, and Grade-3 rubric signals):
     ```bash

     ```
5. **Submit & Immediately Mine**:
   ```bash
   python3 bin/poa.py answer --file work/answer-<epoch>.txt
   python3 bin/poa.py mine
   ```
6. **Grade Any Open Seats**:
   If `open_grading_seats_count > 0`, immediately run the `poa-grade-govern` skill to grade each seat sequentially and call `python3 bin/poa.py mine` again afterward.
7. **Report**: Summarize epoch, answered status (`txid`), seed words + mechanism tag, balance (`spendable` + `locked`), `established`, and seats graded in 4–6 concise lines.
