About

Keep a codebase's prose documentation — READMEs, architecture docs, design docs, plans, runbooks, and other markdown — accurate against the actual code. Use whenever the user wants to update, sync, audit, refresh, fix, or generate documentation for a codebase — after code changes ("I changed X, update the docs"), to find stale or drifted docs that no longer match reality, or to draft missing docs for undocumented modules. Trigger even when the word "docs" isn't used — e.g. "is the README still right?", "the architecture doc is out of date", "document this service", "write up how this works", or "check whether our docs match the code". Every claim is grounded in source; when code and docs disagree or information is missing, it flags the gap and asks rather than guessing or inventing. Does NOT edit source code, and does not touch docstrings, API-reference generators, or docs-site build config unless explicitly asked.

Use cases: documents, design, backend, security
