# Figma Design
Read live Figma data through host-system account tools. Token already stored host-side; never ask user to paste it again.
## Workflow Decision Tree
Share link or key? → extract key + node-id → auth check → meta → subtree → optional render.
1. Parse link: key from `/design/<KEY>/`, node from `node-id=<A>-<B>`; convert `-` to `:` for API.
2. Auth check: `figma_me`. Must return handle/email. 401/403 → `accounts_connect('figma')` (auto-opens settings page), then `accounts_wait`/`accounts_complete`.
3. Meta: `figma_file(key)` or `GET /v1/files/:key?depth=2` (large files always depth-capped).
4. Subtree: `GET /v1/files/:key/nodes?ids=<A:B>`. Walk max 3-4 levels, 20-30 children per level. Report name, type, absoluteBoundingBox, key TEXT values.
5. Render (only if user asks for image): `GET /v1/images/:key?ids=..&format=png&scale=2` → `download_file` URL into writable roots.
6. Red: truncated JSON → retry depth=2 or nodes endpoint. 404 → no share access. 429 → back off + batch ids.
