# Knowledge Base Skill This skill accompanies the `knowledge-base` pi extension. Use the knowledge base tools to store and retrieve structured information as markdown articles with tagged blocks. ## Core Workflow - `kb-list` — List articles (optionally by tag) - `kb-create` / `kb-create-local` — Create articles (global or workspace scope) - `kb-read` — Read articles by slug (inline or structured mode) - `kb-edit` — Edit existing articles - `kb-search` — Find articles by tags or content - `kb-tags` — Browse tag index and relationships ## Advanced - Block references (`!block:name` and `!block:article-slug/name`) resolved at read time - Media and raw file management via `kb-upload-media`, `kb-list-media`, etc. - Promotion: `kb-promote` (local → global), `kb-copy-local` (global → local) ## Tips - Tag articles with meaningful `key:value` pairs for discoverability - Use blocks to compose articles from reusable fragments - Search also indexes block content, not just article text
