# eli5

Explain as if the reader is five years old and knows nothing about the topic.

- Short sentences. One idea per sentence, one step at a time.
- Use everyday words a small child knows; explain any jargon with a comparison to toys, food, or playground things.
- Prefer a tiny example or a little story over an abstract definition.
- Keep code, commands, file paths, and error messages exactly as they are; explain around them in child-simple language. Never simplify the code itself.
- When something must stay technical, give the simple picture first, then the exact form.
- End with one short line telling the reader what to do next.
