# Semantic & Entity Audit ## Goal Determine whether a person or organization can be clearly identified and whether the site presents a consistent, trustworthy entity profile. ## Checks - company name consistency - schema.org extraction and validation - Organization/Product/Article/FAQ schema completeness - visible content vs structured data consistency - entity ambiguity detection - social and external identity links ## Typical findings - brand identity is ambiguous - schema data missing or invalid - visible content contradicts structured data - key organization metadata absent - entity type unclear ## Evidence to collect - title, H1, footer, About content - JSON-LD blocks - visible brand mentions - external signal references such as `sameAs` ## Decision rule If an AI system cannot identify the entity confidently, it cannot trust the page as a coherent source.
