# explain-work

Read the [working agreement](../../references/workflow.md) unless it is already in this task's context. Stay read-only. Explain the supplied plan, decisions, review reasoning, or handoff in terms of the user's question. Progress summaries use [work-status](../work-status/SKILL.md); general code explanations need no Workflow phase. Connect actions to their purpose and findings to their consequences. Identify the documents used and any missing or conflicting context. Do not turn an explanation into a new approval, implementation, or review. Avoid repeating technical details that do not help understanding.
