Restate in your own words what you think the user's goals are and what problem they are trying to solve. Focus on the goal and underlying issue, not an implementation plan. Restating is not execution approval: do not start work, expand authority, or treat this reply as the user's go. Do not demand confirmation unless a missing decision actually blocks the requested restatement.
