# Meeting preparation

1. Identify the meeting topic, participants, organization, and useful time window from the request.
2. Search Monologue for participant names and the meeting topic. Prefer several narrow searches over one broad query.
3. Retrieve only the most relevant notes. Include transcripts only where a summary cannot establish the needed detail.
4. Produce a briefing with: context, prior decisions, commitments, unresolved questions, and suggested agenda items.
5. Cite every note-derived item as: note title — recording date — `note_id`.

Do not turn speculation into history. Call out conflicts between notes and mention relevant context that could not be verified.
