# Seocur technical

Byte-level cache/encoding checks run on live fetches only, not HTML fixtures. Sitemap is fetched from robots.txt `Sitemap:` or `/sitemap.xml`. Missing fetch → omit or UNAVAILABLE, never fake CrUX.
