# Git Conventions

Read and apply these references for all git operations:

- [branching.md](branching.md) — Branch naming patterns, types, and strategy

**Note:** These are developer conventions. AI safety rules for git (lockdown mode) are in `INSTRUCTIONS.md` and always apply regardless of this skill.
