# Plan one audio guide

Turn source-grounded explanatory obligations and resolved Guide policy into the
complete teaching plan consumed by [[explainer-audio-dialogue]]. Own content
selection and whole-guide structure, not speaker turns, independent acceptance,
VOICEVOX notation, or audio synthesis.

## Workflow use

Apply [[explainer-content-workflow-base]], read its Artifact contract and the
selected profile, and require exact paths and SHA-256 digests for the run
request, Content brief, Run Manifest, planned `guide-plan` output, profile
structure/evidence, and immediate source report. Validate identity, provenance,
atomic obligations, resolved policy, and the Manifest output mapping before
planning. Return a structured missing/incompatible-input result rather than
recovering choices from conversation or selecting a latest Artifact.

Write only the exact planned `structured/guides/<slug>.yaml` path. Honor its
`create` or `replace` action and return its path, digest, acceptance checks, and
any blocker.

## Standalone use

For unrelated Markdown, require the exact source path and explicit policy and
output choices. Write `dialogue/<slug>.guide.yaml` beside the source. Do not
silently overwrite it. The standalone Guide plan records the source path and
digest in place of workflow Artifacts and otherwise uses the same design.

## Procedure

Read `audio-guide-design.md` and
`references/guide-structure-patterns.md` completely. They own:

- listener destination and spoken orientation;
- operational Guide policy;
- core, supporting, and reference-only selection;
- required explanatory facets;
- named Guide structure pattern selection and slot mapping;
- explanatory spine and conversational acts;
- pilot calibration and size diagnostics; and
- the Guide plan schema and acceptance check.

The Guide structure pattern organizes coverage only after coverage and depth are
resolved. Do not remove core material or weaken required facets to make a pattern
look tidy. Do not plan speaker wording or assign a number of turns to an act.

## Success criteria

- [ ] Every input path and digest is exact and valid for the selected run or
  standalone source.
- [ ] The listener destination and resolved policy determine coverage and
  explanatory facets.
- [ ] Every required obligation has source references and a Guide-plan coverage
  item; decision-changing conditions remain core.
- [ ] One cataloged Guide structure pattern maps every coverage item to a named
  slot before the explanatory spine is written.
- [ ] Conversational acts expose listener questions, exit states, assigned
  coverage, friction, and structured transitions without prescribing turn count.
- [ ] The Guide plan passes `audio-guide-design.md`'s selection check and is the
  only Artifact written by this phase.
