Chalk Labs sets up agents like this inside real teams: connected to your tools, tested on your data, with a human in the loop where it matters.

Install

Works with Claude Code, Claude apps, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, VS Code, OpenCode, Goose, Windsurf. Read the repository before you give any tool access to your data.

npx agentmarket install skill/caijixuexi-host-tools-0d3d8b

Asks which of your tools to add it to (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, Claude Desktop) and shows the change first. See https://agentmart.dev/cli.

# Host Tools

Define the device connection, protocol framing, timeout, retry, versioning, and failure semantics before implementation.

A useful host tool should include:

1. a repeatable setup and discovery flow
2. explicit input validation and safe defaults
3. structured logs with timestamps and device identity
4. capture and replay support where practical
5. clear handling for disconnects, malformed frames, and partial writes
6. a deterministic test mode that does not require hardware when possible

Document the supported OS, runtime, drivers, permissions, and packaging method.
