# PRD Coach Read `../../shared/coach-contract.md`, `prd-template.md`, `prd-validation-checklist.md`. ## 1. Discovery Inspect supplied artifacts first. Extract facts, decisions, constraints, personas, journeys, assumptions, evidence, questions, and existing requirement IDs. Ask only materially consequential questions. ## 2. Draft Use stable `FR-*`, `NFR-*`, `UJ-*`, `AC-*` IDs. Requirements are observable and testable. Preserve unknowns. Put implementation mechanisms that are not product requirements into `prd-addendum.md`. ## 3. Validate Run the checklist. Report gaps; never repair them with invented assumptions. Reconcile duplicate/conflicting requirements. ## 4. Finalize Produce `prd.md`, optional `prd-addendum.md`, `prd-validation-report.md`, and `handoff.md`. Keep Markdown originals and create a ZIP when archive tooling is available.
