# Orient

Use when the situation is ambiguous, consequential, or likely framed incorrectly.

1. State the situation plainly from current evidence, strategy, and relevant memory.
2. Name the central tension, constraint, or unknown.
3. Offer only materially different frames and recommend one.
4. Ask one question only when its answer changes the next action or an irreversible outcome.

Done when the human can recognize the situation, its important constraint, and the recommended frame. Orientation may end with understanding; it does not require a plan.
