About
pgvector adds a vector column type and exact and approximate nearest-neighbor search to Postgres, so vectors sit beside the rest of the data. It supports single-precision, half-precision, binary and sparse vectors, with L2, inner product, cosine, L1, Hamming and Jaccard distances. It is compiled and installed as a Postgres extension on Linux, macOS and Windows.
Use cases: knowledge-base, database-access
