About
The Trusted Agent Protocol is Visa's cryptographic standard for merchants to recognize Visa-approved AI agents. A trusted agent includes a message signature in its request, which the merchant validates against the agent's public key using RFC 9421 signatures. The protocol also describes signatures for consumer recognition and payment, and the developer platform provides sample code.
Use cases: identity-access, payments-billing
