About

Web Bot Auth is an authentication method that uses cryptographic signatures in HTTP messages to verify that a request comes from an automated bot. It is used as a verification method for verified bots and agents, and it relies on IETF drafts for a key directory and for how keys attach identity to requests. Cloudflare supports Ed25519 keys, and a bot hosts its key directory at a well-known path.
